All fellow shoe addicts: unite! I bring you a new photopost with the most amazing, killing, gorgeous heels ever. I am quite a shoe lover myself, because let’s face it, your shoes can make or break your entire outfit. Alright, enough with the rambling, bring in the heels! (All pictures are from Tumblr, a big part of them from this particular blog)

Obviously, these are my personal favourites, perhaps you don’t like them at all. But if you do, which ones do you love?

Review: Little Diva Bodylotion by LD

A while ago, I got a mail asking if I wanted to try the Little Diva bodylotion. Obviously, I was very excited to try this, so I hit reply and told them I was looking forward to it. I received a package with the bodylotion, and here’s a little review about the product!

For the ones among you who don’t know Little Diva, it’s a Dutch bed/bath/home textiles, cosmetics, tableware and stationary brand that is characterized by four themes: leopard, pink, jeans and gold. Sounds good, right? Little Diva stands for everything that runs through a young woman’s mind. Being loved, being sexy, glamorous, cute, naughty, but most of all: it allows women to be themselves and let them Dare to dream.

So, as I said before, I got to test the Little Diva Bodylotion. It comes in this glamorous, golden tube, with baby pink printed letters and a cute little chain with a retro heart and a bow.  It looks really great in your bathroom!

Then, off to the content of the tube. The bodylotion has a very sweet smell, not candy-ish, but very flowery with a hint of fresh, green apple.  The texture is, well, the same as most bodylotions you’re familiar with. Creamy, but not running. The most remarkable feature of this bodylotion is obviously its smell. It moisturizes and leaves your skin feeling soft, just like most bodylotions are made for. My skin is softer after use, but not significantly softer than it would have been with other lotions I have. Nevertheless, I really love it, because of its smell. Even hours after applying it, I can still notice a slight smell. Even other people noticed how nice and sweet I smelt (or smelled, depends if you prefer British or American spelling).

Anyway, if you’re interested in this bodylotion or in any other Little Diva product, be sure to check out their website. The items are available at Douglas, V&D and many other Dutch stores. For my Belgian readers, you can purchase Little Diva stuff at Marie Marie (Antwerp) or Vanderhaegen (Waregem). Unfortunately, Little Diva is not purchasable on line, but I made this post anyway because I’m from Belgium and I loved this too much not to share it with you guys!

Prices of items shown above: Little Diva Bodylotion (€7.95), Little Diva Teapot (€34.95), Little Diva Handsoap (€8.95)

DIY: Neon shoes

I discovered a list of DIY blogs, and obviously I’m currently following almost every single one of them. I might make a post with my favourite DIY blogs soon so you can see for yourself, but today I’m going to present you this gorgeous DIY that I found on Love Maegan (if you haven’t heard from her yet, check her out, she’s amazing).
If you’ve got a nude/brown/boring pair of gladiator sandals or other shoes and you don’t mind a little bit of neon, you could try this!

Ok, so, first of all, this is what you’ll need:

  • Shoes in a natural/nude/brown colour, preferably (gladiator) sandals or heels
  • Nailpolishes in any colours you like, and a white polish as a base coat (you can also use acrylic paint)
  • Nail polish remover and a fine brush
  • Painter’s tape
  • Optional: a hair dryer to fasten the drying process

How to do it:

  1. Tape off all the areas around the parts you’re going to paint, to prevent messing.

  2. Use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to clean the surface.

  3. Cover the desired areas with a layer of white nail polish. Let this primer dry for a night.

  4. Begin painting with your neon colours! Be sure to start with the lighter colours, that’ll make it easier for you to correct any mistakes afterwards. Let dry overnight.

  5. Apply a second coat of your neon nail polish. Paint on the opposite direction of your first layer, to get a more even colour. Again, let this dry overnight.

  6. If you want to, you can finish off with a top coat for extra shine and protection.
  7. Remove the tape and correct any mistakes with a cotton swab drenched in nail polish remover.

  8. Enjoy your new shoes and strut that stuff like you own it (because, well you know, you do own it)!

Again, a big thanks to LoveMaegan for this DIY!

Agyness Deyn for Dr Martens

British brand Dr Martens caught it-girl Agyness Deyn for their new limited edition clothing/shoes/accessories collection, that will be for sale in the autumn 2012. She was already the face of several other Dr Martens campaigns. Agyness herself describes the collaboration as “The brand is a great fit for me, as it stands for strong character and being able to shape your own personal identity.”

I personally think Agyness is a great choice for Dr Martens: her style is the perfect match of grunge and fashion, and she’s rarely seen without Dr Martens on her fashionable feet.

What do you think of Dr Martens? Fashion sins or a match made in heaven? I looooove them, don’t own a pair myself yet, but I’m saving up for baby pink ones.

Beauty gurus on Youtube – Part II

About a month ago, I presented you a brief list of my favourite Youtube beauty gurus: DiamondsAndHeels14, Lisaeldridgedotcom, MichellePhan, Dope2111 and JLovesMac1. Obviously, there are plenty of other gurus who are great as well. So I decided to come up with a ‘Beauty gurus on Youtube – Part II’ post. I’ll present you with another list of five inspirational, creative beauty gurus, and like last time, I’ll also explain why I like them.

1. MacBarbie07: 16-year-old Bethany is a sparkling teenager who records videos that’ll make you happy. Her videos are about all kinds of subjects: DIYs, hairdos, make-up, fashion, nailart, giveaways, etc. I used to struggle with making high buns all the time, but Bethany has a video that explains how to make a gorgeous, big high bun that’ll stay all day.

2. atKristaBradford: Krista is really the queen of hairdos. Ever wanted to perk up your natural haircolour without using chemicals or hair dye? Krista has a DIY for brunettes, blondes and redheads. She also has tons of videos with gorgeous hairdos, braids, buns, waves, etc. Be sure to check it out!

3. ChriselleLim: Chriselle is mostly a fashion guru, she posts a lot of outfits, but also some lovely DIYs. I love her French tip shoe DIY and her video about ‘Fashion rules that are meant to be broken’!

4. Cutepolish: If you type ‘nail art’ into the Youtube search bar, about ninety per cent of the results on the first page are all from this lovely user. She makes the most amazing nail art designs, such as a tuxedo design inspired by Zooey Deschanel’s red carpet look at the Golden Globes 2012. Most DIYs I post here on StuddedDreams are from Cutepolish, for example my Newspaper nails or the Galaxy nail art tutorial.

5. Pixiwoo: This one was recommended to me by one of my lovely readers (thank you roxilazar!). A few of my fav videos include a Brody Dalle make-up tutorial (because it’s one of the few grungy make-up tutorials I’ve seen so far) and a Corpse Bride tutorial.

Have any other suggestions for a third Youtube gurus post? Leave them in the comments below, I look forward to them!
